Growing in Christ Together

Overview:

ABC Student Ministry supplements the discipleship efforts of parents by providing  a discipleship-focused ministry where students learn how to study God's word in depth, both individually and with one another, examining it to understand both the original intent and how it applies to us today. Our goal is to prepare our students for adulthood, training them to be able to study God's Word inductively, and encouraging them to live it out!

• “But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have firmly believed, knowing from whom you learned it and how from childhood you have been acquainted with the sacred writings, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.”

Focus for 2026:

• Our focus is on the continual growth of our students. We desire to train and prepare them for adulthood through the intentional studying of God's Word, not only through reading and recitation, but also through application and celebration. We emphasize applying what we are learning, and celebrating what God is doing.

Opportunities:

• Discipleship by coming alongside one another in small groups.
• Knowledge and comprehension through studying God's Word inductively.
• Maturity in application of knowledge. Growth in boldness to share testimonies of God’s active work in their lives.
• Serving others and taking the Gospel into the community.
